I personally think that the transitions in this song are great. They have the right amount of white noise and the trancy lead is really fitting. Unfortunately I don't like the main lead and middle part too much. I think there is not enough variation after 1:05 with exception for the transitions, which are still very good. I would like to hear more going on in the main parts but the introduction as well as the transitions and end are great.

Keep it up :)

JMSy responds:

I guess i can expand the melody of the middle section to make it more interesting but its quite a short section then goes in full at 1:45 which is a change but still simple repetitive melody..so yeh i could expand on that melody...might do that then repost! :)

cheers for thoughts

Oh, I love this. I like the transition from a very calm and happy atmosphere in the beginning to a bit more creepy and haunting atmosphere, while ending in a harmonic - almost dreamlike- relaxing atmosphere.
I could imagine this as music to a movie trailer or as the music of the title screen of a psycho-thriller/ horror game.
Only thing I did not like was the overuse of the electric guitar in the middle part and that the eguitar had too much reverb.
Other than that it is a really well constructed piece of music that I really enjoyed.

Good job, keep it up :)

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it! =)

For fucks sake, this is fucking awesome. If the mixing was better I'd give this song a 5/5 but anways, you really used everything those synths could give. This is a really good song, melody-wise and variatio-wise. The mixing lacks something but since I don't know how mixing works exactly, either, I can't really say what it is.

Anywas, keep it up, good work. :D

Great song,it has much variation but lacks on the mixing. Especially the last 50 seconds could hvae a little more seperation between the parts but overall the song really fits the mood of a house song.
The song really reminded me of some of the songs in thegame "Hotline Miami" which is a good thing.

Good job, keep it up ;)

Voltus responds:

Thanks for your Review. Glad you like it! If you have some problems with the mixing part I'd like to have a little more specific points on that one. I love the hotline miami soundtrack btw. M.O.O.N. in particular.

Cheers!

While I think the song is good overall and above average I also think there are some aspects to improve. As steelside said before the eery lead saw that plays during the part after the drop could have a stronger impact when it attacks. The composing is nice and the melody is really sweet. I love the combination of trance-ish music and dubstep and I think regarding this aspect you did a really good job. Really the main complain is the saw. Other than this it is a great song and also the wobble basses are something else than your average dubstep song. It gives the song an individuell style and that is wh y the song is really above average - in means of composing and style-wise.

Good job, keep it up :)

Pandasticality responds:

thank you for your feedback, much appreciated, il work harder next time, il try creating my own style thats why its not your average dubstep, i love Liquid Dubstep/Chillstep, thats what i try to create with my own little twists ofc.

Excellent work, this is some really nice jazz/ swing. The composition is perfect, the mixing suits every instrument. I really wish it would be longer, especially the part from 0:28- 0:42.

Good work, keep it up! :)

Tonio responds:

thanks :D

I really liked this song, it combines electro with easy listening/ jazz, I wouldn't really put it into the category of D'n'B, though.
If you listen to this with headphones there is really some change going on in the bass, still it does not have that much of variation which is not a necessarily a bad thing.
The mixing is good, nothing clashes.
I really could imagine listening to this on a father-son bike tour or a drive to Lego-land ;)

Anyways, good job, keep it up :)

Thanks for your input SoTJake, I can see that you really hear where this piece comes from. I've really enjoyed your stuff and realize there's a lot to learn from your sounds and depth in your tracks!

Another great electro track from you. Yo really know what you are doing!! I love the melody and it really fits nicely with the instruments and sounds you are using. The lead is a little bit generic though, you could improve the melody if you played a second lead with a variation of your main melody around 3:18.
This would add some variation.
Other than that: Great track, keep it up! :)

I like it but as you said it also has a share of problems that are not too hurting, though :)
I like the trancy style it has, but it lacks a little bit of variation between 1:15 and 2:00. After that the song gets really interesting but the drums in the end mislead me to the conclusion that there would be some kind of drop or something that would lead into a loop. Other than that I really like the polishing of the song, the instruments don't clash only the drums could need a little bit of establishment in the song.

But overall it's a nice song that shows that you know how to make trance music :)

Good job, keep it up :)

I love this song. This soothing, yet dangerous atmosphere it creates really lets one think about what could hide behind this song or what could follow. I really like that there is no "action" sort of, as it leaves the scenario in which this could be played up to the listener.
Sometimes less is really more. :) Keep it up!

popraz responds:

Thank you ! I appreciate it.

Yeah, well, I make music.
